The West Yorkshire Criminal Justice Board
The Board was established in April 2003 and aims to transform the way the criminal justice system works in West Yorkshire. It is made up of Chief Officers from the Police, Probation Service, Victim Support, Courts, the Crown Prosecution Service, Youth Offending Teams, Legal Services Commission and Prisons. The aim is to bring more offenders to justice, deliver real improvements for victims and the local community and to improve links between criminal justice agencies.
