Restorative justice gives victims the chance to show offenders the real impact of their crime, so that they can do something to repair the harm. It holds offenders to account for what they have done, personally and directly, and helps victims to get on with their lives. Restorative justice can take place when the offender has already been sentenced, in prison or in the community.

The guest speakers will be Sir Charles Pollard QPM, Chairman of the Winchester Restorative Justice Group, and ‘Restorative Solutions’ - a Community Interest Company, and Griff Daniels, Community Involvement Manager, Wiltshire Youth Offending Service, who will speak about restorative justice on national and local levels respectively.
