Karen Harrold BA Hons, MBA
Chief Crown Prosecutor, CPS
Chair, Wiltshire Criminal Justice Board

Karen Harrold qualified as a Solicitor in 1983 and worked in private practice before joining Hampshire Police Authority as a prosecuting solicitor.
Karen joined the CPS when it began in 1986 and has worked in various CPS Areas including Surrey, Kent, and Hampshire as a Branch Crown Prosecutor. 
In 1999-2000 Karen led two national projects for the Director of Public Prosecutions and CPS Chief Executive.
In 2000, Karen moved to the Attorney General’s Office advising the Law Officers on legal issues, as well as policy development in a number of criminal justice areas, including victims and witnesses, rape, anti- social behaviour and contempt.
Karen took up post as Chief Crown Prosecutor for CPS Wiltshire on 3 May 2004. 
Interests include photography, travel, music and good food. 
 

Andy Rogers
Governor,
HM Prison Erlestoke
Vice-Chair, Wiltshire Criminal Justice Board

Andy joined the Prison Service in 1992 at HMP Dorchester as a Prison Officer.
He served in all grades at HMP Woodhill, HMPYOI Norwich (twice) and HMP Blundeston before moving to Prison Service headquarters in June 2005, where he set up career and succession planning arrangements for senior managers.
Also there, as Head of National Prison Officer Recruitment, he designed and implemented the Recruitment Assessment Day and online testing processes, which have so far won three national awards and resulted in more than 3,000 new Prison Officers being recruited nationally.
In June 2008 he became the Governor of Erlestoke.
He became Vice-Chair of the Wiltshire Criminal Justice Board in April 2009.


Brian Moore
Chief Constable, Wiltshire Police

Brian Moore joined the Police Service in 1975, serving with Lancashire Constabulary and the Metropolitan Police Service as well as Surrey Police, where he was Deputy Chief Constable.
He was appointed as Chief Constable for Wiltshire Police in January 2008.
Mr Moore is married with two sons and lives within the county of Wiltshire.
 





Simon Townley,
Area Director, Her Majesty’s Courts Service for Wiltshire, Dorset, Hampshire and Isle of Wight

Simon Townley took up post as Area Director for HMCS Dorset, Hampshire and the Isle of Wight and Wiltshire in June 2009 following a restructuring exercise that saw HMCS South West Region reduce form four to two areas.
He joined the SW Regional team in May 2007 after a short secondment to HMCS Headquarters where he worked on a range of projects, including a review of the implementation of the computerised listing system for civil courts.
Before that he was Area Director for Surrey where he led the courts through the transition to HMCS.
Simon has managed groups of courts in different parts of the country, including the Thames Valley and Manchester. He joined the (former) Lord Chancellor’s Department in 1979 and has held a range of administrative and management posts, including several years in the Department’s Internal Audit Division.
Simon has the regional portfolio for Family work. He chairs the Regional Family Business Improvement Group and represents the South West Region on the national Family & Resources Delivery Committee. 


Mal Munday
Head of Wiltshire Youth Offending Service

Mal took up the position as Head of Wiltshire YOS in November 2009, although he had been covering the role on a two day per week basis since May 2009.
He previously worked for the Probation Service at all levels (practitioner and manager) since 1987, the last seven years of which were spent working for Wiltshire Probation Area as an Assistant Chief Officer.
Mal has a steadfast belief in the benefits of the principles of prevention, restorative justice, targeted youth support, and partnership working with colleagues within other agencies and individual members of the community as the best way of achieving key outcomes.
Mal is a Wiltshire resident and is married to a primary school teacher. He has two children aged 14 and 17 who attend a local secondary school.
Mal attempts to keep fit by playing football regularly and coaching a Year 6 football team (he is a Football Association Level 1 trained coach), and when not working or playing football, you will often see him dreaming about his beloved Aston Villa!
 

Diana Fulbrook, OBE
Chief Officer,
Wiltshire Probation Area

Diana graduated from Bath University in 1971 with a BSc Sociology and a Certificate of Social Work (CQSW).
She also gained two post graduate qualifications (MPhil, and MBA). She entered the Probation Service in 1971, working for Hereford & Worcester Probation Service as a Probation Officer, Divorce Court Welfare Officer and Crown Court Liaison Officer.
She was promoted to Senior Probation Officer and managed the Community Service operations.
She worked in Warwickshire as an Assistant Chief Probation Officer and managed the implementation of the 1991 Criminal Justice Act.
She also led a review of Youth Justice and produced a blueprint for the establishment of Warwickshire’s Youth Offending Team. Diana was appointed as Chief Officer and moved to Wiltshire in April 2001 to lead Wiltshire Probation Area into being part of a National Service.
She has been a member of the Criminal Justice Board since its commencement in April 2003 and was elected Chair in September 2004.
She was also recently appointed as a Council member of the Wiltshire & Swindon Learning & Skills Council. Interests include family, singing in a choir, swimming, being a School Governor, and travel.
