About us
Concerned about crime? So are we. In fact, it's one of our top priorities.
Since 2003 Wiltshire Criminal Justice Board (WCJB) has been bringing together different agencies involved in delivering criminal justice within the county.
WCJB consists of chief officers from the following agencies:
- The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS)
- Wiltshire Police
- Her Majesty's Courts Service (HMCS)
- Youth Offending Teams (YOT)
- The Probation Service (Wiltshire Area); and
- The Prison Service
WCJB is one of 42 Local Criminal Justice Boards set up by the Government across England and Wales.
Our members are committed to transforming the way in which the Criminal Justice System works to catch, convict and rehabilitate more criminals.
We're doing this by improving co-operation between agencies on the ground to deliver a joined up criminal justice service which benefits the communities of Wiltshire and Swindon.
