Achievements
Warwickshire LCJB continues to meet its targets in 2007/08
- Warwickshire saw an 11.75% reducton in recorded crime this financial year. There were 39,942 recorded crimes in 2007/08 compared with 45,257 in 2006/07.
- 11,503 Offences to Justice(12 months ending march 08) 4.5% above our target of 11,000.
- Warwickshire continued to exceed the PYO pledge with an average arrest to sentence of 55 days against a target of 65 days or less for the 2007 calendar year.
- Asset Recovery – Warwickshire confiscated assets to the value of £449,039.91.
- Warwickshire exceeded its fine enforcement target, our full year payment rate was 146%, and this was against a target of 89% or more.
- Warwickshire LCJB continued to reduce the number of outstanding unexecuted warrants by 28% compared to our baseline in March 2005. We also continue to execute fail to appear warrants timely.
- Warwickshire continues to meet all of there Magistrates Court and Crown Court indicators which include trial effectiveness, discontinuance rates, guilty plea rates and timeliness.
