Warwickshire LCJB continues to meet its targets in 2007/08

Warwickshire saw an 11.75% reducton in recorded crime this financial year. There were 39,942 recorded crimes in 2007/08 compared with 45,257 in 2006/07.
11,503 Offences to Justice(12 months ending march 08) 4.5% above our target of 11,000.
Warwickshire continued to exceed the PYO pledge with an average arrest to sentence of 55 days against a target of 65 days or less for the 2007 calendar year.
Asset Recovery – Warwickshire confiscated assets to the value of £449,039.91.
Warwickshire exceeded its fine enforcement target, our full year payment rate was 146%, and this was against a target of 89% or more.
Warwickshire LCJB continued to reduce the number of outstanding unexecuted warrants by 28% compared to our baseline in March 2005. We also continue to execute fail to appear warrants timely.
Warwickshire continues to meet all of there Magistrates Court and Crown Court indicators which include trial effectiveness, discontinuance rates, guilty plea rates and timeliness.
