LEWES CROWN COURT OPEN DAY Saturday September 13th 2008
We are pleased to report that in excess of 3000 people came through the doors of the courts for a free fun and informative day. It was great to see so many people of all ages who enjoyed all the fantastic things to see, including the police dog, birds of prey, cells and court rooms, jury room and more. We met lots of people who visited the SCJB stand and we look forward to meeting you again sometime soon!
PRIDE 2008 Brighton Saturday August 2nd 2008
Sussex Criminal Justice Board were pleased to support the 2008 PRIDE festival at Brighton on August 2nd 2008. Many people visited the stand and took away a whole variety of goodies, including beach balls, frisbees, whistles and balloons.
There was an opportunity to enter our free prize draw - in return for answering a few questions, which will help us to plan some future engagement with the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) community. We are grateful to everyone who completed the short question form and told us they would be happy to take part in future consultation.
