Suffolk Criminal Justice Board Members
Suffolk Criminal Justice Board (SCJB) members are chief officers from the main criminal justice agencies and our Chairman is Paula Abraham, Chief Crown Prosecutor for Suffolk.
That is, Suffolk Constabulary, Her Magesty’s Court Services (HMCS), Crown Prosecution Service (CPS), Suffolk Probation Area, Prison Service and the Suffolk Youth Offending Team (YOT). Also on the SCJB are representatives from the Legal Services Commission and Suffolk county Council

“The Suffolk Criminal Justice Board (SCJB) is tasked by the National Criminal Justice Board (NCJB) with the delivery of the Criminal Justice Service (CJS) at a local level. Chief Officers from the main CJS agencies work in partnership to ensure that a high quality service is delivered to the people of Suffolk. The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) contributes to this work and is responsible for the prosecution and presentation at Court of all cases which result in a criminal charge.”
