Northumbria Local Criminal Justice Board structure
The strategic direction of LCJB is set from the Board and delivered via the Performance Management Group through to Local Delivery Groups (LDGs).
There are six LDGs reflecting the six police area commands. Each has members from the partner agencies and Community Safety Partnerships (CSPs).
Working alongside the Performance Management Group (PMG) and LDGs are the sub groups. These groups have a specific remit.
They are:
- Proceeds of Crime Act sub group
- Victims and Witness sub group
- Domestic Violence sub group
- Communications sub group
- Enforcement sub group
- Public Reassurance and Engagement sub group
- Youth Justice working group
Northumbria Criminal Justice Board reports to the Office of Criminal Justice Reform (part of the Department for Constitutional Affairs) on a quarterly basis providing Self Assessment Reports. This is done by the performance Officer via the LDGs and sub groups who report on specific local issues, initiatives and successes.
