Cashback takes kids to the countryside
Youngsters from both the East and West end of Newcastle dived into an action packed weekend at Cragside, Northumberland thanks to £3,000 in Community Cashback funding.
The trip was organised by The National Trust Inner City Project which runs youth projects in East, Byker and Walker, and West Benwell, Elswick and Scotswood, areas of Newcastle. It aims to get young people out and about doing countryside activities that they wouldn’t normally get the chance to do.

Allotment lands £2,750 of the pot!
Community Cashback dug deep to fund equipment and training for a community allotment in Hendon.
The allotments have bloomed using the pot of £2,750 to purchase equipment such as spades and trowels for its members to use free of charge.
