The Northamptonshire Local Criminal Justice Board

run a secondary school programme

Citizenship in Partnership.


It is made up of presentations from a number of agencies about their work.

The aims are:

  • To teaching how the Justice System works 

  • To explain the consequences of getting involved in criminal activity 

  • To give the students the opportunity to meet the people who work for them in Northamptonshire

As a result of the day out of 187 pupils who gave us feedback:
86% said they knew more about the Criminal Justice System as a result of the day

9.5% said their knowledge stayed the same
2.5% did not answer this question
2% said knew less as a result of the day
