Local Crime : Community Sentence

Do you know what happens when someone commits a crime and goes to court?

NEXT OPEN PRESENTATION: WREXHAM LAW COURTS, THURSDAY 3 DECEMBER 7pm

Probation Officer Lis Oates and Magistrate Pat Thomas with the interactive voting machines

How does a Magistrate decide on a sentence? What do you think should influence their decision?

LCCS is a project that aims to raise awareness of the effectiveness of community-based sentences. It does this by giving interactive, case-study- based presentations to local community groups.

If you run or belong to a local community group and think your group would like to know more?
