WE'RE WORKING TOGETHER FOR THE PEOPLE OF NORFOLK

Whether you are a victim of crime, a witness, a juror or have been accused or convicted of a crime, this site is for you. Or maybe you are simply curious about how Norfolk’s Criminal Justice System works. Whatever your interest or involvement  we hope you will find this site both helpful and interesting.

So who are we and what do we do?

The Norfolk Criminal Justice Board is a group of chief officers from the county’s main criminal justice agencies. That is, the police, the courts, the CPS, the probation service, youth justice services and the prisons.

Our Chairman is Norfolk’s Chief Constable, Ian McPherson. Click on the Who We Are tab to meet all members of the Board.

The Board’s job is to make the whole Criminal Justice System in Norfolk more efficient and effective from start to finish. We aim to do this by making sure all the agencies and organisations who fight crime, protect the public, help victims and witnesses and reduce  re-offending are working together for the people of Norfolk.

Through our work we aim to make Norfolk an even safer place to live, work and visit.

Please explore our website and let us know what you think.
