Andrew Baxter, Chief Crown Prosecutor, CPS Norfolk

"The NCJB sets a common direction. The Board adapts to meet the needs of the communities  we serve and good communication ensures that agencies improve their skills and processes so that a high quality service is delivered throughout the justice process in Norfolk."

Sue Massey, Head of Youth Justice, Norfolk YOT

"Working as part of the NCJB really adds strength to how Norfolk's Youth Offending Team is able to prevent offending in young people and help them make a positive contribution to their communities."

Martin Graham, Chief Executive Officer, Norfolk and Suffolk Probation Trust

"The NCJB ensures that all of the criminal justice agencies in Norfolk are more effective at managing offenders at all stages of the criminal justice process, for the benefit of victims and the wider public."

                                                                                Paul Baker, Governor, HMP Norwich

"I like to think of the NCJB as the glue which holds together all of our criminal justice agencies. We try and make Norfolk a safer place to live and work by protecting the public and reducing reoffending."

Mike Littlewood, Area Director, HM Court Services

“The NCJB co-ordinates the work of the criminal justice agencies not only in delivering an effective, transparent and responsive service but also to make our communities in Norfolk safer for all.”

Ian Ayres, Director of Strategy and Innovation, NHS Norfolk

"Partnership working is important to meeting the NCJB agenda. With health partners fully engaged we will progress the more effective and appropriate management of offenders."

Colin Bland, Chief Executive, Broadland District Council

‘When the public are surveyed about what’s important to them their first or second response is usually 'fear of crime'. The NCJB brings many agencies together to work to improve confidence in how crime and anti-social behaviour is tackled, with and on behalf of the community.’

Diane Hayward, Relationship Manager, Legal Services Commission

"It's important that all agencies involved in the justice system work together to achieve value for money. Through the legal aid system, administered by the Legal Services Commission, we can ensure people accused of a criminal offence have access high quality legal advice."
