Welcome to Merseyside Criminal Justice Board Online

What is Merseyside Criminal Justice Board?

The Board is made up of Chief Officers from the core Criminal Justice Agencies in Merseyside, please go to the 'Board Members' page which is accessible from the menu on the left of the screen.

Merseyside Criminal Justice Board plays a vital role in reducing crime and bringing more offenders to justice in Merseyside.  It is responsible for meeting the Government’s objectives for the criminal justice system (CJS) as well as the priorities of the local community.

The Board meet 10 times per year and work together to deliver local improvements. The existence of the Board provides a more co-ordinated approach to tackling crime in Merseyside.  Together, we can concentrate on bringing more offenders to justice and on improving confidence in the CJS.
