STOP PRESS - 5th SEPTEMBER 2008 - 9 GO THROUGH FROM MERSEYSIDE
Fantastic news for Criminal Justice workers in Merseyside.....9 teams/individuals have survived the first sift of the National Justice Awards. Sifting is is done by a cross-agency team at the the Home Office.
Teams and individuals from HMP Liverpool, Merseyside Probation Trust, Merseyside Police and Local Authorities have been selected to go through to the next stage of the National Justice Awards. A panel of Ministers from the Home Office will decide on the finalists in each category.
Finalists to be announced on Wednesday 24th September, all finalists will be invited to a ceremony in London which will take place on Tuesday 21st October.
