Our structure

The London Criminal Justice Partnership brings together criminal justice agencies and broader partners to shape and deliver a criminal justice service that befits a world class city.

The primary aim of the Partnership is to determine how the criminal justice service in London can best contribute to a safer London; and improve the public’s experience and confidence in the criminal justice system.

The remit of the Partnership is people and processes from the point of arrest, and includes activity intended to reduce re-offending. Agreed priorities and activities to deliver on this remit will typically involve two or more agencies.

On a local level, the London CJP supports 28 local criminal justice groups, which are the principle vehicles for implementing our work plans and improving performance on a local level.
