About us

The London Criminal Justice Partnership (CJP) bring together London's criminal justice agencies with other partners to shape and deliver a criminal justice service (CJS) that befits a world class city.

We changed our name from the London Criminal Justice Board (CJB) to London CJP in January 2010 to better reflect the the multi-agency work we deliver.

Our primary aim is to make London safer by ensuring that Londoners receive an efficient and effective criminal justice service; and by working with local communities to reduce offending. In delivering this we strive to be an exemplar for innovation and partnership working that moves beyond talk to action.

We have had some success in this. Since we were formed in 2003, the London CJP, which covers the largest of 42 criminal justice areas in England and Wales has delivered a number of tangible outcomes that really matter to the public, but we know we must do more.

We remain ambitious for the future and are committed to deliver for Londoners and those who travel and work in our capital city.
