Our vision is a fair and efficient criminal justice service (CJS) that everyone has confidence in.
We aim to:

Deliver a simple and speedy service – this means a CJS without unnecessary delay and bureaucracy so that resources are focused on dealing with the more serious and complex cases.

Promote confidence and engagement – this means providing victims and witnesses and communities with the right help, information and support so they have confidence in the CJS.

Impact on serious and violent offending – this means increasing our focus to tackling serious and violent offending and reducing re-offending to prevent crime and increase safety.

Improve the criminal justice response to youth crime – this means better identification of those young people at risk of offending, re-offending and victimisation and providing a more effective local partnership response to these risks.
