 Warrant Withdrawal

The London CJP has launched the ‘Warrant Withdrawal’ protocol, which delivers a proactive approach to managing applications to withdraw Fail to Appear (FTA) warrants in magistrates’ courts and the Crown Court. It sets out agreed standards and arrangements between the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) London, Metropolitan Police Service (MPS), City of London Police (COL), British Transport Police (BTP) and Her Majesty’s Courts Service (HMCS).
