For Practitioners
Local Criminal Justice Groups (LCJG) provide a vital service to help and support many victims, witnesses and the wider community. LCJG are the primary vehicle for the local delivery of criminal justice and London’s performance against local and national targets.
There are twenty eight groups in London and their core membership includes representation from the Police, the Crown Prosecution Service, Her Majesty’s Courts Service, London Probation and the Youth Offending Team(s). Each group is also encouraged to extend the membership to Victim Support (to include the Witness Service), the defense community and community safety managers.
