FACE TO FACE...

...with justice in Lancashire! Help us make a difference in your community.

The Lancashire Criminal Justice Board is hosting its first ever “FACE TO FACE” event at The Invincibles, Preston North End on Wednesday 20 May 2009.

Come and join the Board at this new event which is aimed at bringing local communities and the justice decision makers together for a full and frank discussion about the way things are in Lancashire.

Our FACE TO FACE event follows a “speed dating” format which will give everyone attending the chance to speak informally with all the agency leads in small groups for a set amount of time before moving round the room to speak to the next agency. There will be an opportunity for open questions to all the agency leads at the end of the session.

This first FACE TO FACE event will be held at The Invincibles at Preston North End on Wednesday, 20 May 2009. The evening will start promptly at 6pm and a buffet will be served at the end of the event at 8pm where there will be further opportunity to speak with the Board members. The NATIONAL FOOTBALL MUSEUM has also agreed to extend its opening hours especially for the FACE TO FACE guests so feel free to come a little earlier and browse the museum between 5pm and 5.45pm.

This event gives you the unprecedented opportunity to ask questions and put your views forward directly to the people who make the decisions about criminal justice. The chief officers from each agency will be accompanied by a colleague who will be able to answer questions on a local level.

If you are interested in attending please contact Su Mistry no later than Friday 8 May 2009 to reserve your place. Su can be contacted on 01772 444654/550 or email su.mistry@hmps.gsi.gov.uk .
