What we do

Since the Board was set up, more offences have been brought to justice and the likelihood of becoming a victim of crime in Lancashire has been reduced. In addition, the support to victims and witnesses coming to court has been stepped up.

But the LCJB recognises that there is much to be done.

The Board has broadened its membership to include other services and bodies – such as the NHS, the Strategic Crime Reduction Board, G4S and the Legal Services Commission – who also have a key part to play in delivering future improvements. The Board also welcome the input from Government Office North West (GONW).
