Community Cashback - seizing cash from criminals
Community Cashback gives Gloucestershire people a say in how assets recovered from criminals (for example, confiscated cash or property) should be spent in our community. During the summer of 2009, members of the public, community groups and organisations were able to submit bids for projects which tackle crime and disorder in their local area.

The successful projects which received funding are listed below and more information can be found by following the links on the left.
Rose Garden Restoration
Returning the vandalised garden on the corner of Tuffley Avenue and Stroud Road in Gloucester into a restful area for all the local community to use.
Street Pastors
A multi-Church response focussing on the issues of anti-social behaviour and crime created by the busy night-time economy in Cheltenham.
Whaddon Youth Centre
A bid to provide access to the youth centre for young people on a Friday and Saturday evening.
Furniture Recycling Project
A project providing work placements and accredited vocational courses for 16-18 year olds who have left school without qualifications and are at risk of offending.
