Confiscation of criminal gains
Under the Proceeds of Crime Act, the criminal justice system has the power to remove assets from convicted criminals which has been gained by unlawful activity. Some of the money recouped is given to local criminal justice agencies to help further the fight against crime within Gloucestershire.
