Streamlined Process
In April 2008, Glouestershire became one of six areas to trial a new process which is designed to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the criminal justice system.
The Streamined Process will reduce the amount of Police and administrative time needed to build a prosecution file for cases being heard in the Magistrates' Courts - as a result police officers can spend more time on frontline duties.
