Effective Trial Management
Working together for fairer justice
Since March 2004, new measures have been put in place to manage cases more robustly through the court process. The Effective Trial Management Programme has improved case preparation and progression so that delays are reduced and cases go ahead when they are supposed to.
As a result fewer cases now break down and significanlty more effective trials take place.
The effective Trial Management process has meant:
- Fewer delays
- Trials dates are scheduled more quickly
- More trialsgo ahead on the day they should
- Better quality justice
