Connecting with Communities
Fortunately, most people live crime free lives, never needing to come into contact with the Criminal Justice System.
But when a crime is committed, a whole series of events start to unfold and it is vital that we can let you know :-
- What the process is and who will be involved
- How long it will take
- Where to get further information, advice and support
- What your rights are; and what your expectations should be
We also provide consistent and continous information, listen to what you tell us and feed back to you on the work that we do and what improvements are being made long before you may come into contact with us as a victim, witness, juror or offender.
We offer presentations, events, open days, You be the Judge events, Mock Trials, consultation events, DVDs - we work with other agencies, the media and the voluntary sector.
