Confidence and Equality Leadership Statement

The Dyfed Powys Local Criminal Justice Board is made up of seven statutory agencies; Dyfed Powys Police, Crown Prosecution Service, Youth Offending Service, HM Court Services, HM Prisons Service, Probation Service and the Legal Services Commission.

We are committed to delivering a high quality of service to the communities of Dyfed Powys, focused on the needs of the citizen irrespective of background.

We recognise and value the diversity of the communities we serve and are committed to providing a service to all sections of those communities in a fair and consistent way.

Together we recognise that securing the trust, confidence and equality of our community is a key factor in being able to successfully reduce crime, disorder and the fear of crime. We recognise that all of our staff have an important role in achieving that.

We recognise and value the diversity of our staff and will treat everyone with dignity and respect

The following principles will underpin our individual and collective approach to confidence and equality.
