The Honour Network is a free helpline run by Asian charity Karma Nirvana.
Those manning the helpline know what it's like to feel under pressure, like you have no one to turn to. They know because they've been there and come out the other side.
Everyone who answers the phone at the Honour Network helpline is a former victim of forced marriage or 'honour' based violence.
Karma Nirvana is a group of survivors who've got together to offer each other emotional and practical support through tough times. They chose the name for the free phoneline because they want to reclaim their honour. As honourable human beings, they have nothing to be ashamed of.
Calling the Honour Network is completely confidential. The number doesn't show up on any phonebills.
