Inside Justice Week 2007
Seeing Justice Done was the theme of a week-long campaign to open up the Criminal Justice System to the public in Cambridgeshire.
Those attending a range of events in November got to take part in interactive quizzes, preside over a virtual trial and have burning questions answered by Chief Officers from the county's criminal justice agencies.
A newly commissioned short film, showing how the agencies are working together, was premiered, together with another film, featuring the experiences of a reformed offender and crime victim.
Meanwhile Cambridgeshire's unsung heroes in the Criminal Justice System were honoured for their outstanding contributions at the Cambridgeshire Justice Awards.
The events were part of Inside Justice Week, an annual campaign taking place throughout England and Wales from November 3 to November 10.
CCJB chair and Cambridgeshire Chief Constable Julie Spence said that for the Criminal Justice System to work effectively, it must have the confidence of the law-abiding majority.
"This is why Inside Justice Week is so important. It's a chance for the public, who may have never come into contact with the Criminal Justice System, to look behind the scenes, ask questions and find out more."
