Court Open Day at Bedford Magistrates' Court:
Inside Justice Week is a national series of events run every autu
mn to promote the work of the eight organisations that make up the Criminal Justice System. It is an opportunity for the public to meet Criminal Justice personnel, see where they work and get a better understanding of what they do.
As part of Inside Justice Week 2009, Bedford Magistrates' Court threw its doors open to the public on Saturday 17th October 2009. There were mock trials, cell tours and the chance to meet members of the Criminal Justice System including police officers, crown prosecutors and sniffer dogs!
